Fired for being sick?
While I wasn't suprised to see that this lady was fired for being sick and taking care of her son, I was surprised to see that she learned of her firing by email. I would think that HR would prefer to document firings in a more formal setting than email?
The article also mentions that the government is considering legislation surrounding sick leave.
