Fired!!! because the phone was tapped.

I think this was the last time I was fired... and it was a long time ago like the rest of my 'got fired' stories.

I worked at a gas station- pumping gas. It was one of the last full service stations that I knew of (I rode past there a couple months ago, and it still is a full service station).

I only worked there about a month before I was fired- and this time, I really deserved to be fired. I really hate admitting this about my past... but regretfully, I used drugs back than. Not only did I use them, I also sold them. This is of those skellatons.

So one day, I arrived to work and boss was there. I was a bit stunned because he was never there- he just owned the place. He brought me into the back room, and he confronted me about using the pay phone (that is on the property) to make drug sales/deals. Again I was stunned- how did he know? He told me that the phone was tapped. He told me that he's an ex-cop. He told me that if he ever saw me on or near his property again, that he'd make sure that I was arrested.

That was a shamefule time in my life, and I am really reluctant to post this truth- I fear I will be judged wrongly. I am one of the fortunate few (I think statistically only 22%) who completely changed and turn their life around.

I do not hesitate to share stories of my past with people that I know. They can clearly see that 'that was than'. I share my stories, because I hope that they will learn 'what not to do'.
