Volunteers needed for newspaper article
A major newspaper has contacted us to see if we had any customers that would be willing to speak to the information below. If you are interested, shoot me an email (damon@simplyhired.com) & I will provide you with the contact information for the reporter.
* Employees and managers who’ve communicated or received difficult news at work (past or present jobs). The conversation could be over a misfired email, demotion, inappropriate dress style, etc. The story will offer advice on how to best handle these situations. Sources will need to explain why this happened, how they dealt with it, and what they’d do differently next time or what they would recommend someone do in a similar situation.
* Employees who can share specific experiences related to diversity at work (at their past or present jobs). This could be how a diversity program helped you land a promotion at work or how your leverage your minority status to succeed in your job. By contrast, it also could be a case in which your company’s diversity program doesn’t help at all or you’ve had to change jobs due to a diversity-related issue. Sources will need to explain what happened and how it helped or hindered their career, and what they’d do differently next time or what they would recommend someone do in a similar situation.
