Have fun at the wedding & a have a GREAT New Year!

Hi,

I had taken time off from work at a major TV station in Philadelphia to attend my nephew's wedding on New Year's Eve in Connecticut.

I had just returned to my sister's house, after getting my hair done, and had about an hour to get dressed and leave for the wedding. As I walked into the house, my brother-in-law said your boss called and asked you to call as soon as you walked in the door.

I made the call and was told the station was eliminating my job as of 5 p.m. that day (it was now 2 p.m.)
and, as of 5 p.m. that day I was out of a job after 26 years.

They hoped I would enjoy the wedding and, by the way, Happy New Year.
