My Story
I worked for one of the top fortune 500 cellphone companies. My wife and I both were the top sales reps for our market. Well, several months ago they decided to change up quota requirements. Basically they were paying everyone less and requiring more. Well when you work with people you tend to become close. So each and every month when someone was a little short of quota, someone who had already exceeded quota would give them enough sales to help them out. Because we didn't want anyone to get fired. Nothing was EVER said about this. Well one day out of the blue, I was called into the office and fired because I gave my wife a sale. At the same time in her manager's office she was being fired for the same thing. Now there are still several other coworkers, that have done the same thing, and nothing happened to them at all, just the married couple. They disqualified our unemployment, and we have appealed. My wife won her appealment, but I lost. Then they won't to appeal that decision to. I talked to lawyers about discrimination, but they said that according to GA law there was nothing we could do.
