A few years ago, when I was in the Army, I was working as a company clerk out in Germany. The 1st sgt loved me, because I spoke fluent German, and I translated everything from the Polizei (Police) calling about guys who got drunk and got into fights, to angry German husbands who would ask me to tell Private so and so to not sleep with his wife :D I had two dirtbag bosses, a Sgt, and a Ssgt, one was a drug dealer, a pimp and a thief, and the otehr was a fat, worthless, lazy redneck who wouldn't lift a finger to do anything. So pretty much I ran the show, while they took all the credit. Well, one day we were out in Grafenwoehr for a training excersize, and my CO came into our building, and he shouted *******!!!! (My name) and he bum rushed me. Now my Co was a Ranger, and an Airborne trooper, and had all these schools to make him feel tough, but what he didn't know, was that I'd been in about 100 streetfights in my lifetime, and I wasn't about to let anyone punk me out. I pretty much wiped the floor with my CO (Who really was a cool guy) and choked him out after a few minutes until he passed out. I got up laughing at him, and when I looked up, to my surprise, there was the Battalion Commander, Battalion XO, and everyone in my chain of command looking on in horror after I made my CO pass out. I kinda smiled sheepishly, and walked out of the room. The next day, my first sergeant pulled me aside, and quietly told me to report to Support Platoon for duty. After that, I was driving trucks. Looking back, whooping my COs butt was the best thing that could've happened to me, because I finally picked up a skill that I loved, which was driving trucks, and operating heavy machinery. Talking to my captain after that, we always joked about it, and there were no hard feelings.
