Fired for not doing next shifts work

I love being a temp! It makes it so easy to get fired!
I just got told that my services were not needed because i couldn't do the next shifts work.
I was working as a Yard Hostler, moving trailers from one yard to the loading dock to the next yard. I worked the second shift, which was the production shift, (first is recieving, third is for overflows), so i did over 75% of the work (not complaining, just a fact of life).
The third shift driver complained to his boss that he didnt like driving at night between the yards, could he assist him (Ok, so why did he take the 10pm-7am shift?). His and my boss get together and decide that it would be simple enough for them to add moving the empty trailers to my shift, and i would just "stack" them in the yard somewhere. When i couldnt get all of it done the second night in a row, i was told repeatedly that i was "slacking off" and being lazy, despite the fact that i worked through my break periods (really enjoyed the job). I went to managment, got told it would taken care of. Next day, i was told not to come to work. Tomorrow i start my new location (come to think of it, i do love temping).
