I was fired after six weeks on the job by the human resources manager. Without warning I was terminated for not learning the job fast enough or so she said. She said that she thought that a person with sixteen years prior experience should have known how to do the job after six weeks. Trouble is the job I had prior to being hired there had absoutely nothing to do with the job I was trying currently on.. The job I had had before I came there was twice as hard as this job. I had no pre termination interview or counceling. I knew I was making mistakes but I was trying to be learn and be a good employee. I think they should have tried to help me.. She didn't say what exactly the problem was. I asked her if she wanted me to leave right then and there and she said for me to tie up some loose ends and then leave. If I wasn't able to do my job then how could I tie up any loose ends? I removed my personal items and got the Hell out of there.
