Fired because boss didn't like the new haircut (Sep.2005 entry)!

I worked at a convience store. First time I had ever worked at one, but the manager wanted to try to get better workers so he hired all of us in at $10.00 per hour to see if he could get better workers.
I worked there over a year, and one day (on my off day) I went and got a haircut. Well, the lady gave me such a short cut, but hey hair grows out Right?

When I got back to work the next morning, my boss came in, took one look at me and said "we don't need you anymore. You're fired". I of course was amazed! He wouldn't even tell me why. So later that day, I went by to see his assistant who explained to me that The manager fired me because "she caught that homosexual disease". He was referring to my haircut! The fool thought if a woman had short hair it automatically made her gay!
