Being Honest - oops

Yes, I was fired when I was 19 and called in to my boss's boss's office. He asked me point blank if I knew of any inappropriate/illegal actions on my boss's performance. Being young and dumb - I said yes and proceded to tell him the truth.

Later that day my boss fired me --- just after he was given his 2 week notice.

I asked boss's boss WTF and he said that this was a good time for me to learn how to develop loyalty to an employer. HUH? Yep, he said if I had been loyal to my boss I would still have a job.
