Fired for Reporting a Problem
Talk about unexpected. I was at work on my seventh day. I accessed mybookmarks.com to get my bookmarks to use to gain access to whatever it was I was trying to go to. For the second time since I was at xxxxx, someone had changed the password on me. I knew they tracked every key stroke you make, so since it was only happening when I was using it - and mind you both times I wasn't using that site at home, so only there was I using the credentials - there. Most likely it was someone hijacking my credentials who worked in security there. I had access my bank account and two of my credit cards as well, so I was not happy at all - fearing identity theft, and said so. They told me it wasn't their policy to do that, and I said that even if it's their policy that doesn't mean someone in security wouldn't do that. So, they fired me. Rather than figure out what was wrong, they decided to get rid of the complainant. Now I've got a raging argument with some butthead from the xxxxx IT Dept at their stock forum at Yahoo!
