Porn Reporter (Sep. 2005 entry)!
I was a network admin for a telephone company. I received an email one morning from the CIO and CEO of the company saying, "We have reason to believe that there are several employees abusing the internet. Please compile a list of users with length of time and the hours of violations for a week period. This is a confidential investigation do not discuss with anyone”That week I monitored and submitted my findings unedited. One of the biggest "violators" was the Purchasing Manager and the CFO (female). I did not edit my findings, I cut/pasted them into a document by user name and IP address. I left it up to the CIO to investigate any legitimate usage. It seems the CFO was surfing porn.
Needless to say she was reprimanded. After that little things started happening to my pay. I was short hours, paid regular for overtime, expense requests took 8 weeks to process, on vacation and my check was printed not direct deposited etc. So I mentioned it to the CIO. He spoke with the CFO, a week later I was fired for "creating a hostile work environment"
Don’t mess with a porn watching female boss.
