Fired because ex-husband sent in photos!

I came back to work on a monday morning with a spring in my step after a week long vacation, only to find my bosses from the home office there waiting for me. Forget about the hello's all I could manage to utter was "I must be getting fired" to which they quickly confirmed that I was correct! Just like the dream (or nightmare) I had 2 nights earlier. Why? I asked repeatedly but they opted to hide behind the standard "at will policy" jargon. Weeks later the rumours began to surface, seems my ex-husband had sent them a very nasty and slanderous e-mail, complete with photos! - no joke, this is a sad but TRUE story
