I was a network admin for a telephone company. I got an email one morning from the CIO and CEO of the company saying, "We have reason to believe that there are several employees abusing the internet while at work. Please compile a list of users with length of time and the hours of violations for a one week period. This is a confidential investigation do not discuss with anyone�

So for that week I monitored and submitted my findings unedited. One of the biggest "violators" was the Purchasing Manager and the CFO (female). Like I said I did not edit any of my findings, I simply cut and pasted them into a document by user name and IP address. I left it up to the CIO to investigate any legitimate usage. It seems the CFO was surfing porn quite a bit.

Needless to say she was reprimanded. After that day little things started happening to my pay. I was shorted hours, paid regular time for overtime, expense requests took 8 weeks to process, on vacation and my check was printed not direct deposited etc. So I mentioned it to the CIO. He spoke with the CFO and a week later I was fired for "creating a hostile work environment"

I guess you don�t mess with a porn watching female boss.
