Fired for throwing rocks!

I was fired for throwing rocks. In any other job, that might be a very legitimate reason, but not this one. I was 15 (I'm 30 now). It was my first job. It was also my first firing. I had been working at the place for only about a month that summer when myself and another kid were called into the makeshift trailer/office of the boss. We were told we were fired for throwing rocks. The look on our faces was one of complete confusion. We were speechless. We had no idea how to respond other than to accept our checks and leave. The reason for the confusion? It was a landscaping job and our duty that day was to rake the rocks out of a yard and throw them into the back of a truck. We were fired for doing exactly what we were told to do.
