I worked for a bar for 3 years before getting promoted to general manager. One of the key things the owner wanted to change was doing inventory monthly. We had only done it once a year at the time. The kicker was that he wanted me to use the program that "he wrote" for the company he works for. A year and three months later after trying to set up times to learn the inventory system from him we finally do it. We go through it one time and use it. When we got the results back, they weren't very good. FIRED!!! I told him it was his fault b/c for a year and three months I had no clue if I was making progress or not and I tried to set up time to meet, it didn't matter.
