Finalist for contest: At the car wash!
When I was 16, I got a job vacuuming the insides of cars with hopes of joining the ranks of the dreadlocked car-wiper-downers-for-big-tips at the end of the line. I was to vacuum then pull the car up to the front of the machine. My first dat was very busy, so I took my job one step further and drove a minivan onto the track that the cars travel on through the machine. The car sat there stationary as I got out (turns out the wheel was turned so that it was stuck against the track). Suddenly, the car started traveling through the machine. It didn't phase me, because that's what they do. What I didn't know was that the car was in drive the whole time and didn't stop at the other end. It hit two guys at the end of the line and ran into a big F-350. I must have turned the steering wheel as I got out of the car and sent it forward. Funny thing is, I got fired at the end of the day. Not for wrecking a car, but because someone accused me of steeling change from a car that Ivacuumed.
