XXX Motor Sales in Ontario, California was my employer for seven and a half years. I was a good employee, worked hard, always on time and never stole a thing. As a company they were good to me ... good pay, company car and benefits, that is ... until I was hurt on the job. This multi "BILLION" dollar company fired me after a doctor diagnosed me with a repetative motion injury to my shoulder. I was on disability due to the fact that theyd rather i sit home then work in the office. (I was a warehouse rat) My workers comp claim suspiciously got approved only days after my surgery. Oh yeah, surgery. I got the call that I was "no longer with the company" on the morning of my shoulder surgery. Subcromial decompression and bone spurs. Lucky me. Then to top it off I got a call a day later telling me I had five days to turn in my car-my only transportation. Picture this, me, in a sling, pumped up on vicodin at a VW dealership trying to buy a car so i could take my seven year old son to school. No job, no car, no medical, no severance package, just a letter and a dont let the door hit you on the way out. When i called to ask about saving my job i was told by Cheryl in the office that i could RE-APPLY for my job. HAhhahaha so not only was i fired but i could re-apply for the same job at a much lesser pay rate. I am still recovering and was told they were in their legal rights to fire me like that. xxx ... I love what you do for me.
