Just don't call your boss "stupid"!

I was working the night shift, I am a nurse.There was a big snow storm that day and the director of nursing had another nurse call me,at home, to wake me up and tell me that I better not call off sick that night because of the snow. I had never called off before. Since the snow was bad, I told her that I wasn't planning on calling off at this point, but if it got too bad, I might change my mind.She had the same nurse call me back and tell me I was not permitted to call off, I angrily reminded her that SHE had called ME! I did come to work that night and was telling some co-workers about the phone calls.My statement was,"that phone call was as stupid as she is". To my surprise, the boss was standing right around the corner listening to me spout off about how pathetic she was! Being the dedicated one, she decided to stay the night. Needless to say, she canned me. She said it was because I forgot to document a blood pressure, but we both knew it was because I couldn't keep my
mouth shut about her stupidity!!
