Fired twice before probationary period ended!

I worked for the xxxx. My supervisor and I were like oil and water. I had a 90 day probation period. On day 89 he fired me. No prior warning, no chance to improve what he thought I was doing wrong. I got a union rep to represent me. It took 5 years and a lot of legwork to get re-hired, with back pay, and no reprocussions. But, the supervisor again waited til day 89 to fire me again!! A judge from the district came up, and said, "I've never seen such a blatant case of sex discrimination in my life. Go back to work, we don't even need testimony or court for this case!" The bad part, he stayed my supervisor, and later became xxxx of this office. Where is the justice?

Take joy in the fact that their arrogance is their downfall. You aren't the only person this has happened to and it will happen again. Just make others aware of how to handle the situation when it comes up. Someday the company will face a huge lawsuit and will have no way to argue it. The only chance the company has is that the case will be delayed for years (5 in your case) and that the person will get discouraged and walk away. Be happy you were union too. It amazes me the people out their that think the company they are working for will in anyway be fair.
