On July 9th I dislocated my patella. Your patella is your knee cap. It was very painful and unfortunately put me out of work. My recovery took a little bit longer than the average person due to the hip displasia I have, one hip in socket and one out of socket. I told my boss what had happened and she seemed understanding. My knee starts to improve and on July 22nd I was released by my doctor for a sitting job only, my boss never offered me any accomodation. On July 25th I started physical therapy. Unfortunately for me, I was fired on July 27th because I did not meet the qualifications of the fair medical leave act, I had only been an employee for the hotel for 11 months. They told me they could not extend my medical leave because my absence was causing a strain on the department. About three days later, another employee in the same department I worked in fractured her foot. She was offered a sitting job by my evil former boss. They still haven't found a replacement f or me. JERKS!!!
