Fired for being accused of being a "terrorist"!
You have to hear this. I thought it was a joke, but it wasn't.
I had been working for this home improvement warehouse in Oceanside, CA. for about two and a half years. I loved it. I had received two promotions with raises, was just offered the dept. manager position, met my feance, great friends, and planned to stay untill I retired. Untill a manager (who had a thing for my girlfriend at the time) started sexually harassing her and started harassing me. I assume out of jealousy. So I did what anybody else would have done "no, not punched him out, even though I wanted to", but went straight to the human resorces dept. and filed a complaint against him.
Two weeks later I was called into the managers office. I thought it was for some information on the complaint. I sat down, had a big smile on my face, when all of a sudden they handed me my last pay in cash and asked me to leave. They told me because someone overheard me on the phone with my girlfriend "threating to blow up the building".
Well, I wonder who that was.
