Can I buy you a drink?

In college, I worked at a liquor store for several years. I noticed that at different times both the owner and his wife were drinking heavily in storage rooms, I figured it is their product, so whom am I to complain? One day the owner�s wife comes up to me and tells me that they are missing liquor inventory. The next week one day the owner complains that they are missing liquor. Well, both the boss and his wife were sneaking around drinking the alcohol without informing each other. It is sad that both the owner and his wife each were drinking behind each other�s back. Next week I was fired due to their consumption of liquor, as if I was responsible for their alcoholic addiction.

Not more than a few months later � the store closes and both the owner and his wife end up in a alcohol rehabilitation center, due to their problems I lost a good college job.
