I worked hard my whole life-i am a disabled marine-i went to work for a company in ohio as a maint manager in2004-my wife passed away young and we didn't have a plan to make sure i was taken care of -by the means of money ---no life insurance-i maxed out a credit card just to pay for the funeral-this is life i just had to pay the 255 from the govt didn;t pay much of anything-i have 2 daughters-so i went back to work-we were making it-week to week--i was salary so the extra 30 hours a week that i worked i didn get paid for and i was on call 24 hours-so i knew if there was a problem i would take care of it-i was very happy with this company-i paid the bills and worked hard- i had to use my other credit card for gas-i drove 900 miles a week and the 75 in gas i got from the company just didn;t pay for all my gas -i handled floods -fires-no heat no hvac-when i was on calli never complained-i even worked side by side with my men on a daily bases in the trenches---most managers don;t do this--last year my health began to fail-so i had a meeting with the president of the company---told him of this and i was burning out---he said take all the time off that i needed-just call him and let them know ---i had about 1000 hours of comp time built up-so when i was sick i clled in or when i saw a dr. i gave them a dr slip---a female from work came to my house---and said you have sex with me and i can make sure you will never lose your job ---i asked her to leave-i being a former marine thought this was funny and forgot about it-i avoided her when i saw her i just said hi-and that was it---about 3 months later i started dating-my late wife has been dead for over 3 years--i didn;t know it at the time but this female felt rejected by me ----so soon i was called in the office and my hours were cut-and i lost all my benifits-i asked why and they told me i nned some time to rest---that i work too hard 3 months later i was fired or let go---i faught them got my unemployment-it ran out --bills went out of this world--i filed a civil rights suit and now it has gone to regional---i have a good case and i was the only vet that worked for this company--i can't find a job because of my age-i pay my bills every other month so i can live-i tried to get money from every place that i can---no go-i may have to beg soon i don't want to lose everthing that i got---the civil righs suit has been going on for a year-i am at wits end can anyone help a vet
