After 9yrs of GREAT service at a place I actually loved working at, I was "let go" on Friday March 28, 2008. The only thing the boss could say was "the accountant was telling me I needed to cut back" but why me? The other woman there has only been there 2 1/2 yrs and has more screw-ups than anyone. Can't he see that she is costing him money? And the other woman there is only 30yrs but she is the boss's daughter. She could have found a new job quicker than me. I am supposed to be getting 4wks severance pay. It was me and another guy. We are thinking it was because we were the oldest in our depts. He is almost 60. We are going to pursue this. We shouldn't have been the ones to go. We did excellent work. John is the ONLY person IN his dept!! I am so bitter, I don't know what to do except maybe see if I can do something that will certainly make me feel better. Grab him by the short hairs, anything. I was wrongfully terminated and I am pissed about it. I would have taken a cut in pay, all he had to do was ask!
