I worked in a warehouse and my job was to pack things in boxes and ship them out. Well, needless to say this job was boring as hell. To keep things interesting we would play pranks on each other or make things out of the packing supplies. Being particularly creative, I made a good deal of items out of bubble wrap, tape and cardboard boxes. One day I was making a shoulder mounted bazooka that would fire balls of bubble wrap using a rubber band and trigger mechanism made out of cardboard and plastic lids. It was pretty sweet! I had just loaded it up and aim it at a co-worker at the next packing station...I fired and missed. It bounced off a metal rack and rolled out the side of my station. When I went to get the round to fire again I realized my boss had been standing off to the side watching me for a couple of minutes. While he did laugh at the whole thing and admired the bazooka for about 10 minutes, he ultimately fired me. Oh well, the job sucked anyway.
