Fired for being disabled.

I have been working for a company that other companies hire to promote their products as in brand awareness.
I am somewhat disabled and can only do so much walking, driving, standing per day before I have so much pain that I end up in bed for 3 days following one day of work.
For the past 6 months I have been a rep for a leading camera company. I have won awards each month for the great job that I was doing. October comes along and all of us reps are now not only performing in store training, audits, and building relationships, we are now starting our week end demos in the Best Buy and Circuit City Stores. Four hours show and tell with three new digital cameras. Since I cannot stand for the entire four hours, I must use the aid of a stool part time.
Well, if you have ever gone into one of these two stores you will NEVER see a stool or a chair. Except in Best Buy Geek's Squad area. I was given the ok to use one during my demos.
The first week was a great success and I helped sell 6 cameras. Come the second week and the managers say, "sorry, no stool allowed." Since I carry a doctor's letter so that I have no problem with a stool request, I was told, NO, NO, and No. Well, according to the ADA this is illegal! EEOC also stands up for people with disability.. They call this discrimination and every employer must make reasonable accommodation for any disabled person.
Not only was I told I could not use a stool in one Best Buy in October, it happened again on December 22. Previously I had already performed demos in both these stores and successfully sold several cameras. But the managers on duty on these two nights ....? I informed my company immediately and the director and HR person were not happy.
But then the tides turned against me and they chickened out and let them get away with this crime. Their answer was to just drop the store from my account. The second incident was even more shocking. Instead of helping me with discrimination or at least standing up for my rights as a person with a disabilty, they decided to take me off the project completely. They did it by sending me an email and telling me I had "unprofessional conduct" and I was being released from the project... And in the second sentence, But if we should get another job that fits you, we will surely be in ttouch. Well, Merry Christmas to me! I am very bothered by this company's lack of guts and respect for not going up against the bad guy who treated me this way.
How can a rep who won monthly awards two times in a row fall from grace because she is disabled?
I am not finished with either the Best Buy or the company that I worked for the past 4 years part time. I feel I should stand up for every disabled American who is trying to work instead of draining the system's money. I feel Best Buy should eat Crow! And then some! And I feel that the chicken shit company that didn't have the balls to defend me or help me should also take a licking of some sorts. What do you think?

Just out of curiosity, why the hell have you not hired a lawyer? Or do you just enjoy being screwed? Yea you should stand up for every disabled American. How about starting with yourself?

To the one who was fired for disability i Feel for you I too was fired for a back injury on the job. But have no money to hire attorney. my doctor did not write down on his report that my injury was done at work like i told him so i did not get the settlement i should have. And by the time i received the settlement it went for bills piling up.
