Land what?

So I was about nine-teen and I started a job as a surveyer of land. Basicly a work horse for a bunch of red necks. Well I was put on a crew with a guy that interviewed the same day as me. I remember saying hello in the waiting room, he just looked at me like he was stupid.

Well come to find out, he was my new super visor. He was fired a week before me. Well when you survey you basiclly measure the land from point A to B. Well this guy did not know jack. He bragged about his many jobs as a surveyer. That he had worked at fifteen different companies. So every day was a night mare. He would mess up on every thing he touched. Then blame it on his two man crew. He had a funny little nick name for me, or so he thought. He called me a rod monkey. Amoung other things, his fav was S#$T dousch.

The day he was fired he had me do a cross section, which is when you swim out with a giant measuring stick and find out how deep the water is in a pond or body of water, its a needed job. But he didnt have any paper work in his hands. Which means he wasnt marking the measurements. So I go to get out of the water and he said I would be fired. So I did as I was told.

So he was fired and we all waited outside to watch his walk of shame. Because no one liked him at all. we were surprised he made it as long as did. So the following week I was put on another crew. I couldnt keep up, they were doing stuff I didnt under stand. The above mentioned was supposed to train me. Well my new chief noted that I had been there for six months and new next to jack. So they let me go. Saying that I had been there long enough, they must have forgot about the jack that knew nothing. Could not train because he knew nothing. Even though I had reported this jack to them several times and asked to be put on a new crew. The guy was really immature and out right stupid. My question is, I stuck with this job for six months of daily hell. wheres the love.
