Fired for not carrying laundry

I was hired by an individual in a high position that basically could do what she wanted. She seemed interesting during the interview and I was pleased when offered a position as a junior research assistant.
I was told that my tasks would include doing research (online, libraries), writing letters in response to inquiries, etc...
As I was just out of school and just 22, I was fairly pleased.
Soon after I started, I was asked to run errands, prepare coffee, etc... Basically, it became: "Mark do this, Mark do that...". At first I didn't mind because I thought that it was a small office and that everyone should kick in. However it was clear that I was the youngest and the only one tasked with these duties.
I however continued.
One day my boss asked that I go to her house, that her kid would give me her laundry and that I should bring it to the laundromat / dry cleaner. I didn't say anything as I thought that she must have been in a bind or something. Well, it continued and one day, I told her that I'd rather do my work than do these things. I was fired on the spot. She just screamed at me.
When I asked for a reason, she told me that I wasn't dressing properly. It was Friday, I was wearing jeans and a sweater and was indeed casual - but so was everyone else...
She was probably just happy to have a young guy to boss around.
Now, I work for one of her competitors and really enjoy it!
