I go to college, and worked at publix. They dont care about when u can work,. and they suck. Well one friday i couldnt work cuz i had family coming down from PA once a year, and that sunday i told a mangwer i COULDNT work that day. THen on Wednesday, another manager asks if i can cashier friday till 5PM and i said yeah because i dotn go out to eat till 9. I got there and are like you close and im like WTF. they CHANGED my schedule for THEIR neeeds without telling me, and that previous sunday i saw a manager change the schedule to NO friday, cuz i told him i COULDNT work. I told them on friday i said i cant work, so im leaving and they are like u are our only closing stocker, tell u parents ot take a rain check and im like NO. i said i COULDNT WORK, so i left. EVER since then they have been like trying to get rid of me. Heres how it happened. Last week, i wrote down the schedule, and i wrote it EXACTLY as i saw it. It said the only day i worked was friday cuz im in college. Well I go to work friday and there like u were supposed to be at work thursday, and im like NO I WASNT i didnt see any thing other than friday. They were deliberatly changing my schedule and forcing me to get written up for not showing up.Then they fired me cuz i didnt show up to work. BS eh? what a bunch of assholes. i did NOT see a thursday shift on that sheet. I guess they can do that if they want to.
