Hell has no fury like a prankster scorned!!
In the London office, one worker was always doing pranks and winding up everyone. No one was spared.
A global user conference in the US was taking place one time. Two senior managers were lined up to go. The day before one of the managers told the prankster colleague due to passport problems someone else had to go and the company had decided he (the prankster) should attend.
This was the real jolly - free food, beer, sun, sea! A bit of work, but hey everything else was free!! Excited at going (a child in a sweetshop) he called everyone, his friends, colleagues, family, the wife and even the dog. Got the wife to prepare his suitcase & passport as he was leaving early next morning.
A couple of hours later the manager told him (the prankster) it was all a wind up! Fury erupted, doors flew, walls were damaged as the prankster stormed out of the office building .. whilst colleagues all round collapsed his tear inducing hysterical laughter. He had finally got his just rewards.
We nearly called the police as he sat in his car - fearing he would drive like a crazed maniac!!

No one got fired, the pranks died down, the prankster left soon after!!
