Producer falls on sword, saves Couric
Somewhere out there in the media capital of the world, an unknown producer has been fired by CBS for plagiarizing a WSJ article to represent Katie Couric's innermost remembrances of getting her first library card.
It's a firing offense to plagiarize, but not one to deceive your viewers. See, I have this half-baked, naive notion that news anchors are at least supposed to pretend to be honest. Just call me Forrest. :rolleyes:
