Fired for Checking in with my PO

I was on probation for 1 year near Savannah GA... which meant piss tests and to hold a steady job. A friend of mine got me on at a fast food drive Thru... upon the interview after I was "hired" I told the boss man that I have to have him talk to my P.O. to let her know that "ME HAVING A JOB" was official. He said ok, just set everything up later.

A week later I was receiving messages on the answering machine "You better have a job or we are gonna lock your ass up" JEEZ! So, on the day I was to check in with my P.O. , I called the fast food place and let them know I couldn't open the store... it seemed that everyone just let their voice mail do their dirty work on this morning. Finally, I got the bosses wife... and told her to give my message to the boss whenever he decided to wake up, and she said ok.

Now, calling the P.O., she wasn't at the probation office, they said that she was in the court house. The court house said she wasn't there... said she was at the probation office. So, I go there. Court house, no P.O., Office, no P.O. so I left a note saying I had to go to work, I will call later.

I get to work, and the boss is giving me the cold shoulder. Oh well, his wife works side by side with him, so I asked her if she gave the message... NO! she forgot.. So I asked if I could call my P.O. one more time, she said yes.

Ring Ring... "Hello" BOOM IT WAS HER!! MY P.O.!! YES!!! But she was mad... saying WHY DIDNT YOU WAIT blah blah... Nonetheless, I said, HEY I AM at work, you need to talk to my boss to verify everything right? She said YES.. So I set the phone down... and called for the boss... reminded him of the situation, and without a word... he came to the phone... Picked it up and Said, "This is Darryl, yes I am the manager here at ****** of Rincon, Georgia. Uh huh yes, yes, excuse me? No, Yes, he IS here... But he wasn't allowed to use the phone and he doesn't work here anymore." CLICK !!! He HUNG UP in my P.O.s face!!! I threw my shirt and visor in his face, cussed him out, spit on the floor and went home, where a county deputy was waiting and escorted me to the county jail for 2 days for probation violation. :( lucky lucky lucky me.
