So one day my wife picks me up from work. I clocked out and as I walked out the door, some kid ran past me. I was off the next day, but when I returned to work, I found out that kid stole from my department, and even though there were other people covering the area, they blamed me for it. They said had I not left four minutes early, I could have prevented it. Problem is, I wouldn’t have been able to stop him because we aren’t allowed to touch people who we think are stealing. The real reason in my opinion of why I was fired is this: My availability was open to close Monday through Saturday. I said I couldn't work Sundays, mainly because of church, and then family events are always on that day. They kept pressuring me to work on Sunday, and I kept telling them no. So I think they were just looking for a way to fire me. Jokes on them, because on my last day of work, I had an interview for a job, which is where I work now, and it is a much better place, and better work environment.
