ALMOST Fired

I was working at a pizza place last year and was nearly fired for a stupid reason. I was really tired of customers giving false complaints about their pizzas in order to try to get free ones (saying they had credits when they had already used them, etc).
So, late that night after work I log in to their website and leave some feedback, half in an attempt to show how ridiculous some of the customer's complaints are and half in an attempt to see how many free pizzas I could get.

I knew I shouldn't have used my real info, but figured that it wouldn't have really mattered as nothing would come of it so I left my feedback stating that I was very distraught that the employees would not give me a free pizza when I had asked for one. I had said they were not rude or anything but just would not give me a free pizza that I was not entitled to.

Well, the next day I got a phone call from the store owner (it was not a corporate store but corporate had forwarded the "complaint" to him) and I he said he was calling about my complaint, and I foolishly told him I had worked there.

Well, the conversation went on for another minute or two, asking how long I had worked there and if I enjoyed working there, when I had submitted that, etc. And I figured that was the end of it. Well, it turns out he told the DM to tell my manager to fire me. If my manager at the time wasn't as cool of a guy as he was I'd have lost that job.

The bad thing is, the owner was such a d*ck that he used that as an excuse to not give my manager his bonus.
