Fired for associating boss with serial killer

Boss liked to brag about how he enjoyed killing by pulling chicken heads growing up as a young man on the farm in rural Illinois. He told infamous story of how he had silenced noisy chickens in this manner to complete a makeup math test at his rural high school. I told him that he has all the makings for a great serial killer. I was told to never bring this association up again. I was fired soon after for reasons that had nothing to do with my performance.
