Fired by the Department of Defense for being hungry

Back in the early eighties I was hired by a DOD agency as a coop student while in college (junior year). This meant that I went to school for a semester and worked a semester. The agency would pay me a salary and my tuition for the next semester. Now as soon as I went to work I submitted the paperwork for room and board plus tuition reimbursement for the previous semester. I quickly got a nice check but to my dismay found out that I had to work for a semester first and then they would pay for the next semester but tuition only. Since they thought I had scammed them I had to sign a paper stating that I would work there for 3 months after graduation or pay back the money. Well things went ok over the next 2 years. I was playing wargames as the Soviet commander against the Blue team and actual Army commanders. After never losing a battle because I knew how to manipulate the mainframe I was bored one day and hungry so I typed in 2 critical words: Stop Job  . Well this command suddenly shut down the entire wargame while there were some high ranking Army brass in the next room. The system admin quickly discovered the terminal the command came from and I was called into the CO's office to explain myself. I had no explanation except that I was hungry and hadnt had breakfast. I was placed in an administrative position for 3 days (I came in and sat at a desk doing nothing) and told I would not be asked back for my last semester. Now this gave me a chance to get my personel folder and find the document I had signed promising either to work for 3 months after graduation or to pay back the money that I owed. Well since I still had access to the classified shredding room I took a stroll down there the last day and my obligations vanished like Oliver North. :)
