laid off as an intern

i know i am not eligible to win the grand prize because i am an employee, but i thought i would share this story.

i interned for a large corporation last summer and into the fall semester. My internship was to last till the end of the semester, but i was let go at the end of November because the company was doing poorly and they needed to save some money. Now i was a little ticked off because i was being payed ten dollars an hour so saving a months salary by laying me off one month before i was leaving was plain stupid. But little did my boss know that i was planning on quitting within a week because the job sucked, i already had my diploma, and i needed to concentrate on finding a full time job. Well, a month later i got hired @ Simply Hired, and this is by far the best job i ever had. And the best part is my commute went from 50 minutes to 5 minutes! Hopefully i never get fired or laid off from here.
