Fired for breaking a washing machine!
When I was 15, I got a job as a wash boy for a restaurant that was right down the street from me. I worked there for about 2 weeks and then something awful happened to me. When I was loading the dishes into the washer the machine broke or something and was squirting water everywhere and all over the kitchen. My manager approached me and asked what had happened. I said I just started the washer two or three mins ago and then it started making weird noises and let out a bunch of water. The manager said clean up this mess and get back to doing the dishes. Once I had dried everything that got wet I had to clean all the dishes by hand and they were double the pile what they were before. When it was 10:00 and time to go home my manager told me I was fired for breaking the machine. I said wait a minute I didn't break it. He said no it's, ands, buts, or excuses. I stormed out of that restaurant never to set foot in it again. I know I could of told the other manager the next day what
happened and they probably would have rehired me. But I didn't want to bother. I went to go work at my Uncle's restaurant.
