- We hate all the fine print, but our lawyers made us do it. Ugh.
- No purchase necessary (as if we had anything for sale).
- Purchasing will not improve your chances of winning (obviously, see rule #2). Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on April 2, 2007 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on May 31, 2007 (the "Contest Period").
- To enter, go to Simply Fired Submit A Story and describe your office prank. If you have more than one story to tell, go right ahead. But contest entry is limited to one entry per person.
- Simply Hired representatives will pick the winning story based on our own subjective judgement. So there.
- The Contest is open to individuals who are 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry, are legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, or Canada (you asked, we came aboot) as of the time of contest entry and who have an email account as of the time of contest entry. The following promotion is intended for viewing in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada (the "Eligibility Area") only. Do not proceed further in this site or these materials if you are not located in the Eligibility Area.
- Contest subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. military installations in foreign countries, and where prohibited.

- Judging will be held April 30, 2007.
- Winners will be notified by email. If a winner does not respond within 3 days of the date appearing on the prize notification, or fails to comply with the instructions contained in the prize notification within that time period, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the person submitting an entry online, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered. Winners may be required to provide evidence of identity in connection with claiming the prize.
- Entries that are lost, late, misdirected, garbled, incompletely received, mutilated, or illegible, for any reason, including by reason of hardware, software, browser or network failure, malfunction, congestion or incompatibility at Sponsor's website or elsewhere, will not be eligible and Sponsor is not responsible for any technical problems related to online entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this Contest in the event that it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically impaired or if the Contest cannot be conducted as planned by causes beyond the control of the Sponsor.
- Income and other taxes, if any, on the value of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.
- Acceptance of a prize constitutes consent and agreement to use winner's name, photo and story and likeness for editorial, advertising and publicity purposes, without further compensation during and after the contest period, except where prohibited. By entering and/or by accepting a prize, you agree to release Sponsor, its affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability arising out of your participation in this Contest with respect to the awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.

By entering and/or by accepting the prize, you agree (where permitted by law) to use of your name and likeness for publicity purposes without further compensation.
